The Central Alberta Rowing Club brings together people who enjoy the sport of rowing and those who want to learn.  The purpose of the Club is to provide recreational and competitive rowing in our community and to encourage participation in the sport.

Depending on the melting of the ice, our rowing season generally runs from the beginning of May to the end of October.  Run by a volunteer executive, it is the only rowing club in Central Alberta.

The Club is a member of the Alberta Rowing Association. Our national governing body is Rowing Canada Aviron.

Anyone can become a member of the Club upon completion of the membership form and payment of the Club fees.  No rowing experience is required.  More information is available under “Memberships”.  For people who are new to rowing, a Learn to Row course is usually scheduled early in the season.  For more information, contact us via the form on our contact page.
